Hi Cyclists: The 2008 City Bicycle Transportation Plan will be unveiled at two public meetings this week. This is the first major revision of the city’s bike plan in ten years. It will serve as a blueprint for requesting bicycle project funding and for renewing and upgrading Santa Cruz’s national Bicycle Friendly City award. Hopefully, you will be able to be at one of these two meetings to learn about the new plan and provide feedback.

-Regional Transportation Commission’s Bicycle Committee meeting at the RTC’s offices at 1523 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz from 7 to 9pm, Monday September 8, 2008.


-City Transportation Commission meeting at City Council Chambers, 809 Center Street, Santa Cruz 7:00 p.m. - Wednesday - September 10, 2008.
